There are a few types of dancing you can choose upon if you want to try out dancing for weight loss. One exercise that I would recommend for beginners is the cha cha. This is one of the easy ways to learn the basics of dance dynamics while giving you a full body workout. If you want to amp it up, you can try something agressive such as salsa dancing. While I was a newbie about weight loss I used to mix things up when I was trying to dance because I want to lose weight. When this occurs, just hook up your own sterio and start dancing on your own so you can still work on getting yourself fit even if you do not have a dancing partner or an instructor with you. I am not the type of person who can be alone for a long period of time so I always see to it that I dance to my favorite music so I can get myself fit without being lonely. One thing a friend of mine does is he would call out other friends and teach him how to dance so that I would not have to dance alone in his place. This is an interesting to try out for yourself.
