One thing that I did and I would suggest that you do this too was stop drinking beer until I got my attractive flat stomach back. You might find this difficult and I can understand. I actually got frustrated restraining myself from drinking beer and I had to get a lot of inspiration by reading testimonials from people who successfully lost their beer belly. And every time I find myself craving for beer, I would try to find other drinks like fruit juices just to make the unhealthy cravings disappear. And also, keep in mind that you should not drink unhealthy beverages like Coke or Pepsi. I guess you can drink them on an occasional basis but don't get yourself carried away with drinking them. You don't want to get all that toxins and sugar in your body. In case you didn't know, sugar can make you fat. When your friends call you up, inviting you to drink with them, you can just tell them that you are on a special diet or you are feeling ill so that you excuse yourself from drinking beer with them. Oh and when I said stop drinking beer I don't mean that you should be way too hard on yourself. You drink a bottle or two probably every month. But you will get faster weight loss results if you completely eliminate drinking beer from your food consumption routines for the meantime.
Now I want to give you some diet suggestions. Well, I am not really much of a diet specialist. I just tried various diet plans and some of them worked, some of them didn't so I'd suggest that you mix things up. Try other diet programs you can find everywhere. I mixed a lot of diet ideas myself when I was trying to figure out how to lose your ugly beer gut. If you want to start right away, you can first try a low calorie diet aside from eliminating drinking beer from your habit. Reducing calorie intake also reduces the amount of fat that you store in your body. The reason behind it is that, calories are responsible for stimulating the storing of fat in your body. I don't have much information about how it exactly works but it has something to do with boosting the release of insulin. Anyway, just try it and see if it works for you. Another one you should avoid is eating lots of fatty and oily foods. I'm not really sure but it is a common knowledge not only eating fatty and oily foods can make you unhealthy by putting bad cholesterol in your body and it can also add up unhealthy fats in your body. You might want to stay away from those foods but you can eat these kinds of foods occasionally. I would also recommend that you eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. You can eat them as your afternoon snack or you can just eat them with your regular meals. According to experts, eating fruits and vegetables can help boost your metabolism. So if you want lose your beer gut and unwanted body fat quickly then you would need to increase your metabolic rate. If you are someone who doesn't like eating raw fruits and vegetables. You can try melting them with a juicer or you can just a blender. I would usually drink juiced fruits and vegetables in the morning since I love it.
You should also exercise regularly. Aside from the fact that you body needs it, it is also the only for you to burn off those fats in your body especially your beer gut. At the time when I was trying to lose fat and get fit, I started off with cardiovascular exercises and I think you do this too. Focus on cardiovascular exercises for quick burning of fat. Perhaps the first exercise you can do is to jog in the morning. This is actually the first exercise that I did as well. It is the only exercise I know back then but it did work for me. You might get bored doing jogging regularly for a long time like I did before so you can try out other exercises. You do some stationary cycling or just do the jump ropes. I like rope skipping. It is convenient for me, entertaining and easy to do. And by the way, do not forget to warm up or do some muscle stretches before exercising so that you won't get any kind of injury or muscle aches. If you really want to tone your muscles, try out some resistance exercises. You can first try doing push ups and pull ups for the arms. For your abdominal muscle, do some sit ups and other variations of abdominal crunches. As you progress with strength or resistance training, you can add up weight lifting to your training but is entirely up to you. On the other hand, you don't really have to do complicated exercise routines. You just have to keep your body working and burning fat and eventually you will get a lean body and be in good health.
