How To Lose Fat Not Protein

This has been one of those problems I have encountered myself when I was working myself out to lose weight. Fortunately for me, I have managed to do all those diet and exercise experiments so I can come up with my own way on how to lose fat not protein. There are actually only a few things that you should learn and focus on so that so do not lose too much muscle or protein weight in your body. When trying to lose weight you should keep some things in mind. You can still be heavy yet not become fat. It might be hard for you to understand especially if you are one of those people who have been accustomed to thinking that losing fat in your body is equal to losing weight in your body. I used to think of it this way as well especially those time when I was clueless about correct weight loss.

What you need to realize is that it is not about losing weight that will help you get fit and becoming healthy. It is about what you lose in your body. I am referring to losing fat in your body and not those muscle with protein element. You can actually have a fit body without even losing any weight. That is the ideal. But in the real world, you can be in good shape with only losing a few kilos or pounds. How do you do that? You just focus on losing fat and not losing other components in your body that contribute to gaining weight such as muscle and water. This might be confusing for you but I do understand. I got confused as well and I have no idea what to do with my current diet and workout program at that time. So that concludes that every individual who want to get fit is to aim for knowing how to lose fat and not protein or muscle weight.

With this new information in mind, you might get frustrated about what to do with your diet that you have been working so much on in order for you to lose weight. My previous diet was all about losing weight and I did not care what it will do as long as I become successful on my weight loss journey. But like I have said, the goal should not be about losing weight. It should be about eliminating excess and unhealthy fat in your body so you can have a lean and healthy body. Well you have to know that it is important for you to consume foods that can make you stronger yet will not make you fat. And no you do not have to decrease the amount of foods that you eat. For starters, you just have to reduce the amount of carbohydrates that you take and focus on eating more protein. This will help you decrease the amount fat that you accumulate in your body without losing energy and essential weight in your body.

Now as someone who wants to lose weight fast, you might obsessed yourself on doing workouts specifically made for losing weight. Well, that is not bad but you should not go too far about forgetting your goal. I have been asked about how to lose fat not protein and I always say that they should be focusing on the right goal. When you are exercising you most probably do a lot of cardiovascular exercises. While it can make you lose fat, you are being inefficient. Do some strength or muscular exercises. At least focus a bit on building some muscles. The reason for that is with more muscles you have the better you become at losing fat and even increasing more protein in your body. Muscles tend to burn fat in your body as they help increase the overall metabolism in your body.

I could never stress this enough but you have to be consistent if you want to really be succesful at this. It is not just about doing things on a regular basis but it is also about mixing up ideas and experimenting on various fitness methods that can help you lose fat without actually losing protein in your body. As always, do not cut back on eating food. Just avoid eating foods that can make you fat. Take that as a general rule. Just to be safe, eat a lot of healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables. Also include foods that contain high amount of fiber. They are good at eliminating toxins and fat in the internal parts of your body. Keep on exercising on a regular basis and focus on things that can make you strong instead of just doing those that can make you lose weight.

If You Cannot Lose Weight Through Exercises

I am sure that you always hear from people that if you want to lose weight you have to exercise. And obviously, this is the way to go to get yourself physically fit. The usual option is to exercise hard. This will most probably work for you and you might start getting results immediately. You might start using late and gaining ,more muscles after a few weeks or you'd feel stronger and light on your body. However, if you still cannot lose weight after all those hard exercises that you have done you are probably missing something.

Most weight loss beginners disregard the fact that exercise can only get you somewhere. I hate to break it but losing weight is not just about exercising your way to become fit. With exercising comes proper diet and proper diet is something that most people neglect when trying to get their body in shape. Dieting can be as easy or as hard as you think it is. In other words, the difficulty in adopting to a certain diet may vary from person to person. If you're not already on a weight loss diet, it might take a lot of your discipline but the results will be worth it. As you start working on your diet, here are some quick points you can keep in mind:

Cut off some carbs
- Carbohydrates, while they can help give your body energy, can also stimulate your insulin levels which prompts your body to store fats and sugar. The more carbs you take. the more fats you store. Cut back on eating starchy foods like bread, pasta, rice and sugar. If you need energy, just put some protein on your diet. I would probably write another post discussing this in detail.

Eat Foods Rich in Vitamins and Minerals
- It is essential that you keep your body strong as you lose weight. You don't want to be running out of energy easily while exercising. Be sure that your body is always equipped with complete vitamins and minerals. It will help you strengthen your metabolism which results to effect and healthy weight loss.

Do not Starve Yourself
- Some might say starving yourself is the way to go to lose weight. However, starving yourself can lead to health problems as well as not being able to enjoy a healthy life. Proper diet is not about starving yourself. It is about eating the right food.
